Appointed by the late Nubri Lama Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, Drubla Pedma Gyamtso has been the venerated retreat master at Sangchen Rabten Norbuling for more than two decades. He received empowerments and transmissions from various great masters, including the Longchen Nyingtik from H.H. 4th Dodrupchen Rinpoche. He has undertaken a three-year retreat at the retreat centre and completed it with substantial progress in his spiritual practice. At present, he continues to guide retreatants in their meditation practices from time to time while furthering his meditation practice at a cave nearby called Dozong. With over 20 years of meditation experience, he is a devoted practitioner and well-respected teacher.
